It’s hard to put into words how horrible the human trafficking situation is around the world, including in the U.S.A.  We’re joining with The P.E.A.C.E Promise team in just 15 days to help bring an end to child exploitation and human trafficking into the sex industry in Thailand and around the world.  Please pray for us and learn more at their web site.  You can subscribe to receive email notification when new blog entries are posted.

New Projects in the Mix

•October 2, 2010 • Leave a Comment

It’s always great to help people whether it’s through direct involvement or just connecting people together for mutual benefit or similar vision.

Here are two examples of why we’re so pumped:

One active project is quite a story. We’re producing an amazing song called “Can’t You See” written by a 12 year old girl in collaboration with Cheryl Hopkins. What is the song for? It will headline the launch of a non-profit organization that this 12 year old girl inspired! Some very talented local musicians are bringing their considerable skills to the project. More to come on this closer to launch.

Another active project we’re working on is a “live show” introduction/hype song for Ryan Payne Band.  We love these guys and are excited to take on this creative challenge.

As of August 2009, two of Cheryl Hopkins’ songs have been listed on SoakingWithAPurpose.com.

Paraphrasing an excerpt, the site’s purpose is to assist people with a new way to approach meditating on the Word of God, practicing the awareness of His presence, and sensing His leading and “gentle whisper”.

Visit to Josiah and Bethany Children’s Home in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico

For the third time in four years, several families from a local church in Pennsylvania, USA visited Josiah and Bethany Children’s Home in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. We tried to be “low-maintenance” to the staff yet complete some of their priority projects while we were there. We were privileged to visit one of the local colonias to provide food, clothing and toys for the children. We also assisted with some much-needed renovations to another local church. All of the children (and adults!) are precious to us. Learn more about sponsoring a child today.
